The state enterprise Ala-Too Resort has updated its official logo.
It was reported that in November, the enterprise announced a competition to create a logo that would vividly reflect Kyrgyzstan’s national cultural and natural values, the spirit of the mountains, the purity of Issyk-Kul, and the concept of sustainable tourism.
More than ten professional designers — including artists, architects, and design studios — took part in the competition. As a result, the logo proposed by Alisher Baybekov was approved.

Chinese investors who have built major hotels are showing interest in the “Ala-Too Resort” project.
Representatives of construction companies from the neighboring country, together with the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration — Head of the Department for Preparing Decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers Azamat Kadyraliev, and the Director of the state enterprise “Ala-Too Resort” Zharkynbek Maksutov, visited the site where the resort will be built.
The investors saw that, under the initiative of President Sadyr Japarov and with the support of the state, active construction works are underway: roads leading to what will become the largest resort in Central Asia are being built, and construction of the cable car and clean water infrastructure is progressing. In accordance with the requirements set by the state enterprise “Ala-Too Resort,” specialists from the Republican Center for Certification in Construction under the Ministry of Construction visited the construction site of the “Ala-Too Resort” in the Khan-Tengri rural area of the Ak-Suu district in the Issyk-Kul region.

The state enterprise Ala-Too Resort has signed a service agreement with the Austrian company SkiMIS.
The director of Ala-Too Resort, Zharkynbek Maksutov, and Matthias Schmid, the director of SkiMIS — who has over 20 years of experience in managing and operating leading ski resorts in the Alps, Scandinavia, New Zealand, and Eastern Europe — signed an agreement for the provision of consulting services for the ski resort project.
SkiMIS, which provides tailored consulting services for the development of modern winter tourist destinations and their efficient operation, will oversee all necessary construction work for the largest resort in Central Asia over the course of a year: ski slopes, lifts, snowmaking systems, snow removal, avalanche safety monitoring, as well as the ski school and access-control systems.

The State Enterprise "Ala-Too Resort" sent more than ten PistenBully (snow groomer) operators for training to the Altai Republic, at the Manzherok resort.
Upon the initiative of Zharkynbek Maksutov, Director of the State Enterprise "Ala-Too
Resort," and as a result of negotiations with the management of the Manzherok resort, an
agreement on experience exchange was reached. Under this agreement, specialists selected
through an open announcement and interview process are undergoing training in Altai on
operating PistenBully equipment — machines used for preparing snow-covered roads and ski
slopes.
In the first stage, they study the theoretical foundations of operating snow tractors.
Next February, the group will be sent for practical training, where participants will
master operating the machinery and the process of preparing ski slopes.

Ala-Too Resort — the new name of Kyrgyzstan's state ski initiative.
Based on the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 331, the State Enterprise «Kyrgyz Courchevel» is officially renamed to State Enterprise «Ala-Too Resort» under the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Simultaneously, the project itself underwent
rebranding —
the "Three Peaks" ski cluster will henceforth be promoted under the unified brand "Ala-Too
Resort".
What this means:
🔹The organizational and legal form of the enterprise remains unchanged.
🔹All property and non-property rights and obligations are retained in full.
🔹The enterprise "Ala-Too Resort" is the direct legal successor of "Kyrgyz Courchevel".
Auction for the alienation of state-owned land plots for investment projects within the framework of «Ala-Too Resort»
In accordance with Resolution No. 326 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic dated June 9, 2025, the Procedure for the alienation of state-owned land plots for the purpose of implementing national investment projects and projects of state importance has been approved.
As part of this mechanism, the state project «All-Season Mountain Cluster «Ala-Too Resort» provides an opportunity for legal entities and individuals, including foreign investors, to acquire land plots at auction for the construction of hotels, restaurants, and related tourism infrastructure facilities.
Read more...As part of the construction of the bypass road to the «Ala-Too Resort» resort, work on relocating the power lines passing through the village of Jyrgalan has been fully completed.
Due to the road expansion, the relocation of power line poles began exactly one month ago. As of today, the poles have been installed 3–4 meters (about 10–13 feet) further from their former position on both sides of the road. As a result, the residents of Jyrgalan, whose number exceeds one thousand people, and who previously were left without electricity during the daytime, will now be provided with uninterrupted power supply. All subscribers are connected to electricity meters.
Meanwhile, on the territory where the «Ala-Too Resort» will be built, the construction of a 35/10 kV substation is actively underway. Preparatory work on clearing the site for the energy facility began ten days ago.

In the Ak-Suu district of Issyk-Kul region, work has intensified on the design and construction of an alternative road from the village of Jyrgalan to the "Ala-Too Resort" ski resort. Currently, the ski cluster, together with the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, has begun laying a new road with a length of 8 km (about 5 miles).
It will serve as an alternative route from the village of Jyrgalan to the "Ala-Too Resort" ski resort. Currently, the expansion of previously used mountain trails is underway, and a gravel-sand mixture is being laid on them. As of today, the laying of crushed stone has been completed on a 1 km (about 0.62 miles) stretch of the road. Simultaneously with the expansion of the route, work is underway on relocating high-voltage power lines. More than 10 units of equipment and teams of specialists are involved.
