The state enterprise Ala-Too Resort is working jointly with winter sports associations in Kyrgyzstan.

A meeting was held with representatives of the Kyrgyzstan Ski Federation, the Association of Instructors for Winter Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Kyrgyzstan Biathlon Federation, as well as athletes who have participated in the Olympic Games.

The main objective of the meeting was to establish joint efforts in training qualified specialists such as instructors and rescue personnel, as well as developing other infrastructure components for the large-scale Ala-Too Resort tourism zone currently under construction in the Khan-Tengiri rural district of Ak-Suu District, Issyk-Kul Region.

At the outset, the enterprise’s director, Zharkynbek Maksutov, presented a detailed overview of the Ala-Too Resort project, which has been granted state status and is being implemented under the supervision and directive of the Head of State. He provided comprehensive information on the resort townships to be developed in three phases, as well as on the ski slopes planned within the project.

In turn, representatives of winter sports associations expressed their interest in mutual cooperation and discussed strengthening safety infrastructure, training young athletes, educating coaches and instructors, and hosting international competitions and festivals while adhering to the principles of environmental sustainability and responsible tourism.
