Specialists of “Ala-too resort” to undergo training at the renowned “Manzherok” resort in Altai

OJSC “Ala-Too Resort” continues to implement the best international practices in the development of ski resort infrastructure.

As part of the personnel training program for the future largest year-round mountain resort in Central Asia, the company is sending a group of specialists for practical training to the Altai Republic — to the internationally renowned mountain resort “Manzherok,” one of the leading centers of ski tourism in Eurasia.

For the second time, our snow groomer operators will travel to the resort for practical training, where they will learn to operate specialized equipment and master modern technologies for preparing ski slopes. The training will allow them to strengthen and expand their skills in operating snow groomers, tracked machines used to create high-quality snow surfaces on ski slopes.

Although Kyrgyzstan has several ski resorts located in mountainous regions, slope preparation has traditionally relied mostly on small-scale machinery. “Ala-Too Resort” will become the first project in the country where modern snow groomer equipment, widely used at the world’s leading resorts, will be applied.

With the support of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, cooperation between OJSC “Ala-Too Resort” and the “Manzherok” resort has become possible. The initiative of the company’s head Zharkynbek Maksutov, along with negotiations with the resort’s management in 2025, led to knowledge exchange and joint initiatives with this globally recognized brand.

Under this agreement, in October 2025, the first specialists selected through an open competition and interviews had already completed theoretical training in the Altai Republic on operating snow groomer equipment. The new stage of training will involve practical work directly on ski slopes.

The knowledge and skills acquired will be applied in the preparation of slopes at the future “Ala-Too Resort”, ensuring a high level of safety and quality of ski infrastructure.
