A field meeting was held in the village of Jyrgalan to discuss the implementation of the state project “Ala-Too Resort” year-round mountain cluster.

An off-site meeting on the implementation of the state project “All-Season Mountain Cluster ‘Ala-Too Resort’” was held in the village of Jyrgalan under the chairmanship of Azamat Kadyraliev, Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic – Head of the Department for the Preparation of Decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The meeting was attended by the heads of key ministries and government agencies involved in the implementation of the project.

During the meeting, the current stages of the project implementation, as well as problematic issues requiring prompt resolution, were discussed in detail. In particular, the participants reviewed the progress of road construction, including the reconstruction of existing road sections and the construction of an alternative road, the timeline for asphalt paving of the Boz-Uchuk – Jyrgalan section, and the provision of special equipment for road maintenance.

Special attention was paid to power supply issues, including the construction of 35 kV power transmission lines, ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply to construction sites and future facilities, as well as the need for additional power capacity for the operation of concrete plants.

The meeting also covered the development of design and estimate documentation for the facilities, construction of administrative and service infrastructure, drainage systems, and wastewater treatment facilities.

Following the meeting, specific instructions were given to state authorities to accelerate the pace of project implementation, eliminate identified issues, and ensure strict control over compliance with the established deadlines.

As part of the field meeting, Jarkynbek Maksutov, Chairman of the Board of OJSC “Ala-Too Resort,” briefed the participants on the progress of construction works at the site. In particular, it was noted that the construction of two cable car lines — B1 and B2 — has already been completed.

The guests were shown the operation of the cable cars in test mode and were informed about their technical characteristics and stages of implementation. The meeting participants also toured the resort infrastructure and personally rode the cable cars, assessing the scale and pace of the project implementation.
