The State Enterprise “Ala-Too Resort” has officially transitioned to operating as an open joint-stock company with 100 percent state ownership.

The state enterprise “Ala-Too Resort” has formally completed its reorganization into an open joint-stock company. All legal and registration procedures have been fully carried out, and the company has been registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The reorganization was conducted in accordance with a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and is aimed at accelerating the implementation of the strategic project to create a year-round mountain tourism cluster under the Ala-Too Resort initiative.
OJSC Ala-Too Resort is the legal successor to the former state enterprise and retains its state ownership structure, with 100 percent of the shares owned by the state. The company’s charter and the asset transfer deed have been approved. The share issuance has been officially registered, and the authorized capital was formed based on an asset valuation.
The transition to the open joint-stock company format establishes a transparent and sustainable organizational and legal framework for the project’s further development, the attraction of investment, and the efficient management of infrastructure.
The Ala-Too Resort project is one of the largest state investment projects in the tourism sector. It envisages the creation of a large-scale mountain ski cluster in the Issyk-Kul region, encompassing the zones of Jyrgalan, Ak-Bulak, and Boz-Uchuk.
