OJSC Ala-Too Places Special Emphasis on Resort Safety.

Matthias Schmid, Head of the Austrian consulting company SkiMIS and an international expert in ski tourism, visited the construction site of the “Ala-Too Resort” ski resort and reviewed the progress of the project’s implementation.
During the visit, the expert inspected the territory of the future resort, assessed the landscape, ski slope layout, key infrastructure zones, and the current stage of construction of the cableway system. Matthias Schmid ascended to the summit, walked along the ski runs, and personally skied on the slopes, noting the natural beauty of Jyrgalan and the resort’s high development potential. According to the expert, the beginner slope being developed in the area of the first phase of the lift is particularly promising.

“We are now at the mid-station of the new lift. A beginner slope is being formed here — a place where guests will be able to make their first descents and learn their first turns. The slope looks excellent. I hope to see tourists here and the ski base operating actively as early as next year,” Matthias Schmid noted.
The expert also highly praised the pace of construction. Compared to his previous visit, all roller batteries have now been installed on the cableway towers, and construction of the garage complex is ongoing.

“The work has clearly progressed. The next stage involves the delivery of gondola cabins and chairlift seats. Over the next two weeks, the power supply needs to be connected, after which the main cable will be installed. Under favorable conditions, we expect to be ready for launch by the end of April,” he said.
Matthias Schmid is involved in the project as a consultant and supports its implementation in line with international standards.

“I am from Austria and am working here as a consultant on the “Ala-Too Resort” project. My task is to support this initiative and help create a completely new, modern resort that meets Western safety and quality standards. What we see here is the first lift being built on this beautiful slope in Jyrgalan,” the expert emphasized.
The involvement of SkiMIS ensures that Ala-Too Resort will be developed in accordance with best global practices, with special attention to guest safety, ski slope quality, and the efficiency of all operational processes. When international experts are working on site, the safety and success of the project are in reliable hands.
