The largest tourism project in Kyrgyzstan has officially begun — Ala-Too Resort.

Set to become the biggest year-round ski resort in Central Asia, this development is more than just a resort. It represents a new urban landscape, a new economic driver, and a whole new level of tourism for the country. In the future, the peaks of Jyrgalan, Ak-Bulak, and Boz-Uchuk will be linked by a cable car system. The region’s pristine air and breathtaking natural scenery will be complemented by cutting-edge infrastructure.

The project will feature ski trails, cable cars, ethnovillages, five-star hotels, cafés, and restaurants. The total road network will span 250 kilometers. The resort is expected to welcome up to 2 million tourists annually and will create approximately 4,600 jobs. Currently, the government is actively developing the region’s infrastructure on its own. Ala-Too Resort is set to become Kyrgyzstan’s largest investment project and a destination that will place the country firmly on the global tourism map.
